Dee's Family Restaurants in Salt Lake City, UT - Affordable, Delicious American Cuisine

Ate here while getting my tires changed across the street. The french dip was good and the fry sauce was yummy. The staff were very friendly and service was lightning quick, and there was a lively and congenial atmosphere.

Emily gave Amazing service, they were extremely busy on Father’s Day. The food was good what you would expect for the price. Server Cody thinks not everyone are equal, big line but 2 of Cody’s friends show up and he says go sit at that dirty table and I’ll clean it off and you can sit there. Best part a lady called them out but manager let them stay seated.

Took our large family to dinner and it was just what we were looking for. GREAT service, which comes tough for a group of 11. They had drinks right out to us and attended us regularly. The waitress was very attentive. The food was great. I had the mushroom burger and it was really good. The pies looked delicious and my slice of chocolate cream pie was excellent.

Diners are diners. This is the way we tend to see them. But Dee's isn't like Denny's or Village Inn or IHOP...it doesn't have that fake, franchised feel and food so greasy or sugary that you can hardly taste them. It's a CLASSIC diner, combining the cozy retro atmosphere with old-school homestyle meals. Unlike the other diners, the turnover for this Dee's doesn't seem very high, so you can expect to see some familiar faces when you go. And the food is great. Miles better than Denny's in my opinion. Like most diners they have all-day breakfast and comfort foods. Last time I was there I got a veggie omelette and it was hearty, well-stuffed, and very flavorful. I've also had their French toast and I think a sandwich too (I've been here a lot so it's hard to remember the times I deviated, haha). It's always been good; the flavors you'd expect but at a quality just higher than you've expected. Diners fill an important role in our culture, providing a place for hearty, affordable meals as well as the good company of pleasant workers. Many elderly folk go to diners for weekly or even daily meals, especially after losing a loved one. Truckers, construction workers, farmhands, and many other blue-collar workers rely on the flexible hours and calories provided by diners. This diner reminds you of all that in the best of ways; a little time capsule from before so much of the restaurant industry became corporate. And me and my fellow millennial friends I bring here absolutely love it. So sure, Dee's may not break any records or be featured on any magazines, but that's not what we need it for. If reliable, cozy, and delicious is what you are looking for, Dee's is the best.

Dee's is know around the ball but this location stands out. Friendly staff, clean and quick to service. Great breakfast for all your needs. Best bacon in town too. Crispy as it should always be. Go often for early and quick breakfast when needed.

SERVICE: Our service was exceptional! She (Rylee) was very enthusiastic and bubbly making our visit very enjoyable. FOOD: it was good but had to add some seasoning for flavor. ATMOSPHERE: it was very warm in the restaurant. Like an uncomfortable warmth.

The service at Dee's was excellent. We arrived at about 1830 hours and were able to order breakfast, lunch, or dinner. We were seated quickly and our table was clean. Our server was attentive and friendly. I ordered a pastrami burger which was excellent. The burger arrived with two tomatoes, cheese, lettuce, onion, and a pile of pastrami. You have the option of regular fries, cheese fries, or onion rings as a side. I chose cheese fries. My son ordered a super Dee's burger and regular fries. My daughter ordered a three cheese melt with regular fries. Couldn't convince them to try the cheese fries or onion rings. Dee's also has a selection of pies. I ordered a full chocolate cream pie for $14.99. It is excellent. Pastrami Burger: $12.99 Super Dee burger: $11.94 Three cheese melt: $10.98 Overall, dinner at Dee's was a wonderful experience and I would go back.

French fries, good, I’m not very picky about french fries; not salty which is what I like because if I need to add salt, I’ll add it. I got the order to go so they put all the condiments on the side, which is fine with me. I got ketchup, mustard, lettuce, pickles, onion, and tomato on their Classic Dee Burger with a slice of Banana Cream pie to go. I was hungry, I enjoyed it but they have a lot of other option so I think I’ll go back and try something else. Great service from Brittany. I go to Utah once a month for work and this place is conveniently across from the hotel. Deelicious!
